My entry for the Udon Mega Man Tribute contest! Submitted FOUR HOURS before the deadline! (okay, the deadline was extended to Friday 
so it wasn't a close call. I'll use the extra days for last touches)
Cut Man served up ala Shinkawa Yoji (Zone of the Enders, but without the Tron/Metatron lines), with Evangelion influence, maybe some Getter Robo... Oh, and Voldo from Soul Calibur
It's the same kinda of composition I've used several times, an upward glance and strong downward movement.
I hope they like it!
EDIT: It got in! I can scarcely believe it. With all the great entries I saw online, I never felt sure! Here's the FINAL VERSION with the many small corrections I made for the book version!

Honestly, Cut Man here is still cutting edge machinery, and this picture is still as sharp as ever, perfectly reflecting like light off his freshly sharpened blades. I'm considering looking for him the next time I need a couple inches off the top!
Edit: I'm back from the hospital, apparently he was not the ideal candidate to ask for a cool anime haircut. In fact, the scar is still about two inches across, and not only that, they had to take a little of the damaged tissue out, but some of the blades got so stuck in my skull they couldn't remove them for my own good. I don't think I have the guts to go anywhere near scissors after that whole experience, so people better be fine with me having super long hair.
