I am not Bob Ross by rubendevela I am not Bob Ross by rubendevela
Those aren't happy trees, they're pedantic and disafected at the same time. Sucks to be them.

I believe that this is a background that may someday.... someday find a foreground in the future.

Ha ha, Bob Ross.

"Those trees are our little secret. And if you tell ANYONE about those trees, I'll KILL YOU."

Anyway. I don't really appreciate landscapes all that much, but I appreciate this one. It's quite beautiful. Almost melodic. I don't know how a landscape could be melodic, but the word came to mind, and there you have it.

no Bob never got that high (that I know of) but it's got lots of depth and wonderfully executed. :)

Oh man...Bob Ross...gotta love that show of his. You remember the other painter? The really agressive German guy? He would shout as he would move his brush around "fire in the thalo blue! Just FIRE it in!" all in a heavy German accent. I loved his segments!

Bob Ross? Oh yeah! The guy with sponge hair. :XD:
A flying creature would look great with this background.

I find this very cool for some reason x_x

Looks exactly like the background in an anime movie...I'm jealous!

Actually, I made this at work! :P
We were practicing backgrounds for the anime "Pretty Cure" and I made this with the tech I learned.

Maybe you're not Bob Ross... But he kinda creeps me out anyway.
This is very cool and very serene looking. I love how blue the sky and waters are. I admire anyone who can make a BG that convincing by themselves... Because I... cannot.
The higher up whispy clouds are a nice touch.

Aw, and happy trees rule and all. I've tried to paint like Bob Ross in Photoshop, but I lack probably both the brushes and the skill. And he makes it look so easy too...

Anyway great work :)

There is a lovely sense of warmth to this - bright blue horizon contradicted with such dark forgeround trees. It's one diverse and interesting landscape, to be sure!

No, I think a couple of them down by the water may be laughing.

Only because they're bitter to be stuck with such uncool trees! Damn these roots.
