Commission for

My version of his character Kakila, a dark priestess.

It has been a while since someone wanted a plain standing pose for a picture.
As for the background, he wanted a huge dimensional portal with dark architecture with soldiers coming out. The demon statue behind her was done for fun.

I studied

's work for this, particularly his hair technique. He's not really a background person though, so the background is basically a technical study of Wayne Barlowe's mind-blowing painting, Wargate.
