Kropecharon by rubendevela Kropecharon by rubendevela
Another illustration for the Brit's book project. I wonder what Kev Walker will think of this?

It might not be furry, but it's definitely "anthro".

You mind if I can use this in a book I'm writing for leisure?
(Don't think it'll get published, but more of a small thing for my friends.)

Whoa that's cool.
I think the correct term would be a Taur, as its got a bug body and then a relatively humanoid torso o3o making it a mythical beast and would go in fantasy.. >.>

Cool. 8-) You anthro'd an insect by giving it a centaur-style design. You then moved on from the centaur look to a knight image with the lance and shield.

Wicked brilliant cool. :w00t!:

Crabs bred for hardness. Every years, the softest ones are harvested for meat and their shells, leaving the toughest of the generation to continue on.

Flashback to Jet Force Gemini! Does anyone other than me remember that game?

I especially like the middle part (waist = thorax?) where its shell overlaps like plate mail

That would be the lower thorax, often refered to as the "wasp-waist."

Actually, no, it's not a bug, it looks more like a wasp/cockroach hybrid.
